My inspiration for this art piece is my two year old niece, Adrian. Together we watched Walt Disney's “Dumbo” over and over again and it would bring us both joy no matter how many times we watched it. So immediately when I see an image or figure of an elephant, it brings me happiness because it gives me the beautiful memories with my niece.

This painting itself is a metamorphosis of an Elephant with his ears presented in a mixture of a butterfly and a moth. The bright colors are what make the art piece come together. It only takes a small memory to take you beyond the raining of colors. I adore the pureness of my niece because a child within that age sees that everything is new and everything is beautiful.
